My Philosophy

Ceremonies and rituals have been used throughout history to guide people through profound life changes. Rites of passage were once powerfully transforming and alive with meaning. Society today offers few opportunities for ceremonies that truly guide or revitalize us. In my work, I am committed to crafting more meaningful and engaging forms of ceremony to honor and celebrate the cycles of life.

I believe that the ceremony is the most significant and precious part of your wedding, for in it you publicly honor your love, your commitment and your vision for a new life. I have seen that when a marriage ceremony expresses a couple’s personal meanings and deep feelings, it creates an intimacy that can touch the hearts of all present. It can infuse the entire celebration with greater aliveness and joy.
